There is way too much stress at work. That combined with our house guests, I am not getting any downtime at either place. I'm very tired everyday. Can't wait for the current project to be over.
Pregnancy-wise, everything is going well. At least, there are no indications of anything being wrong. I take that as a good sign. I have a Dr. appointment in 2 days which will reveal more. I hope I'll get some baby pics!
7weeks 1 day: Stress at work
7 Weeks - Tired as can be
SO tired I can't keep my eyes open. Yesterday I almost nodded off behind the wheel. I'm starting to get anxious about my appointment which is still 3 days away. I am again thinking we'd have bad news. My only symptoms are sore boobs and sense of smell (and tiredness is related I think), and these too come and go. My waist is expanding. I don't fit into many of my regular pants. Hoping that is a good sign!! I haven't had the urge to test or temp in 5 days, which is the most I've gone since the BFP.
6wk2day: Saw the baby for the first time
DH and I saw the perfect little bean today. The doctor had ordered a sono to be done before I can see her for the first time. The order concerned me as 1) This is not standard practice for them, and 2) the doctor had spelled 'viability' to be confirmed along with dates.
The ultrasound tech was from Iran, and she was really nice. She may have been learning because she took forever to take the pics and had to have another tech check her work. The appointment was on Sept 24, 2009 at 1PM. I was out at 3:30PM. The baby's heart beat was 107 and was measuring 6wk1day. This is the best outcome we could have. I was so nervous before the appointment and bracing myself for the bad news. I was thinking of possibility of blighted ovum, or no sac present (like last time). The tech would not show me the screen until she had taken all the measurements. I asked DH to watch the screen and tell me if he sees a sac (i.e. an oval thing with a round thing inside it). He said there were many round things inside it. LOL I'm sure he was looking at something else. She did let him see the whole time and showed me only the baby. And no pictures. I don't know why they didn't give pictures. She said their office will be sending everything over to my doctor.
I had a freak-out the day before. I was feeling very few symptoms and mentioned it to my supervisor. I said I wish I could take a test right now. She is so sweet, she went and got it for me. I tested at work and completely freaked out because the line was medium dark, not dark dark like I had been getting. Somehow I made it through the night and POAS and temped at 3:30 on the sonogram day. Everything was well. Seeing that little heart beating and everything in its place was just so relieving. I felt completely calm about the whole pregnancy on the drive back to work.

21DPO-26DPO: In Disney!!!
Disney world trip from Sept 16 - Sept 21. Had minor freakout one day, tested in AM, got a super dark test. Mostly uneventful. Was really tired in afternoons and nights. Took naps where I could! Had an AWESOME time!!
19DPO: Betas again
19DPO beta = 3257. Overall doubling time is less than 48 hours. Nurse asked to scheduled an ultrasound and a first OB appointment.
Ultrasound: 9/24/2009 1PM
OB : 10/2/2009
Labels: Betas
Betas doubling
13DPO beta = 406
15DPO beta = 911. Progesterone = 20.26
Breathing a slight sigh of relief today. I went for another beta today and should get the results tomorrow. After this, I will set my first appointment with the doctor. I'm afraid to do it too soon and jinx it. Guess I'll set it up for after coming back from Disney. We're going from 9/16 - 9/22. I can't get on any rollercoasters though. But it's ok. I'd rather go to Disney with another little one in a few yrs.

16DPO: Stilll awaiting betas
I'm on pins and needles still waiting for my beta repeat results from yesterday. There is nothing else I can focus on right now. Since it is Friday, if I don't get them today, I will have to wait until Monday. Waiting sucks. I want the phone to RING!! I called the doctor's office already and they didn't have the results yet. They asked to call back at 3 since another set comes in the afternoon.
Symptoms - BB soreness has increased since yesterday. The nose is still hyper. Peeing more often now.

15DPO: I don't feel pregnant
Apart from soreness, there is no pregnancy symptom at all. I'm getting worried. Had the repeat beta done today and will get the result tomorrow. I'm officially late today. Yay! I am taking this pregnancy one day at a time, as I named the title. So today, I am pregnant and that is something worth celebrating. I had chipotle again today :-) With Mehul I craved mexican food as well so this sounds like a good sign to me.
14DPO: Beta at 13DPO
I had blood drawn for Beta (HCG) and Progesterone yesterday. My beta at 13DPO came out to be 406. It is on the high side for the DPO. I had what I call implantation cramps starting at 5DPO and ending at 8DPO. That might have been due to an early implanter and might explain the high beta. I am waiting until my 15DPO beta results to breathe a little easier. Going for the draw tomorrow and should have the results on Friday.
I have had sore boobs since 9DPO but the soreness comes and goes. I've read that is normal, but still worried. I POAS every other day to see the lines progress, and today was an off day but I couldn't stop worrying so I did. The lines came up darker so that was a relief.
When the nurse called me back with beta result, she said it was positive. Like I was expecting it to be negative?? What is the number I asked. I POAS that morning so I know it was positive. Would I get a blood test for that? Actually, with DS that is exactly what I got the blood test for -- to confirm it officially I got a blood positive and never asked/knew about the betas. Just goes to show how different this pregnancy is.
Symptoms tally - So far I have gas, bloating, sensitive nose and slightly sore boobs. This time around with DS, I had sore boobs for sure. I wasn't testing so didn't know I was pregnant. Ah, the good old times.
10DPO: I got a BFP!
I'm 10DPO and I just got a BFP!! This was our third TTC cycle since the miscarriage in April and we had 2 TTA cycles inbetween. I'm very cautious today to not get my hopes up. The loss of a pregnancy snatches that innocence from you.
This 2WW started with a skyrocketing temperature. The temperature jump was so high that I felt hot and feverish for a day. I have cravings Chipotle burrito already! LOL. So far in 10 days I've had it 3 times. I was very irritable starting 3DPO. Had a total meltdown at something stupid on 7DPO. It appears from my symptoms that implantation might have happened around 6DPO. Judging by the line I got, it sounds about right.
Starting 9DPO I started having sore boobs. I haven't had sore boobs at all since April. It was a very exciting symptom that I didn't have before so it made testing necessary. Instead of wondering about it until my target testing day (15DPO), I tested at 7AM today and got a nice pink line and a digital 'Pregnant'.
Gosh, it has been 1 hour since the test and the news has sunk in. I'm off to make some breakfast.
